Sub Blocks

Overview

A Sub Block is a section of the vineyard containing vines that are all very similar. For example, they would all be of the same variety and were all planted at the same time.  When you create a Harvest, you must choose which Sub Block the fruit is being harvested from.

Create a new Sub Block:

  1. Once you’ve saved your new vineyard, you will be taken to its details page. There is a section named Sub Blocks.  Press the “New” button in here.
  2. The mimimum amount of data you could enter here is the Sub Block Code, Variety, and Area.
    Tip: the Variety dropdown will contain previously entered values to help with future entries.
